Thanks-Living instead of Thanksgiving
Welcome to Adventures in Thanks-Living. This blog is an experiment in living a life of thanks for the month of November–and hopefully beyond.
I want to share a quote from Sara Ban Breathnach’s Simple Abundance website:
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
Of course, for me, I would add that faith and gratitude work hand in hand to unlock the fullness of life. Loving God, loving neighbor, and being grateful for the many good things that pass through our hands and lives make each day a feast of abundance.
Check back on November 1 to read daily reflections on one person, place, or thing for which I am thankful. Better yet, add me to your blogroll or RSS feed, or subscribe for updates.
Thank you for joining the conversation!
Peace and blessing,
